Punctuality:
It is important that students arrive to class 10 minutes prior to the scheduled class time and wait upstairs in the mezzanine area to ensure that they are prepared and classes can run on time. Additionally, students must be collected from the gym no more than 10 minutes after the class has finished due to insurance policies. Students should aim to attend class regularly to maintain their progress.
Watching Classes:
For the comfort of our students, watching classes is strictly prohibited and parents are instead asked to wait in the designated waiting area in the mezzanine. Please refrain from waiting and watching from the stairs as it is very distracting for the class.
Courtesy:
As a sign of respect, all students are to call all teachers, including assistant teachers, by their first name. Students must be polite and courteous at all times, including before and after class. If a student is late to class, we do ask that they apologize to the teacher out of respect.
GROOMING & DRESS CODE
While there is no set uniform at Peak, it is important that students are wearing form fitting, comfortable clothing that they can easily move in. This includes singlets, crop tops, shorts or leggings, t-shirts and leotards. Skirts are not recommended given the nature of the classes.
Hair must be neatly and securely tied back and off the face/neck for all classes. Styles may include ponytail, plaits, braids and buns.
No jewelry is to be worn in class with the exception of small, closed earrings.
Most students will participate in bare feet though socks can be worn if the student would prefer. Please bring shoes for before and after class though.
It is important for the safety of all students and coaches that our dress code is adhered to as incorrect grooming can be a hazard and result in injury to both students and coaches.
Peak does have some clothing options available and if there is enough interest we can look into releasing a kids clothing range too!
