Sarah Gray

Originally from Western Australia, Sarah Gray began her journey in movement through competitive dance and acrobatics. Her passion for performance soon led her to “run away and join the circus” — literally. Sarah is a proud graduate of the prestigious National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA), where she earned her Bachelor of Circus Arts in 2016.

With a broad skill set spanning trapeze, handstands, group acrobatics, and dance, Sarah has established herself as a dynamic and versatile performer on both national and international stages. Her impressive career highlights include ensemble roles in Barnum: The Circus Musical (Melbourne, 2019), Leviathan and Humans with world-renowned Circa (Perth, Paris and Brisbane, 2020), and The Pulse by Gravity and Other Myths (Sydney, 2022). She also performs with acclaimed companies such as Na Djinang Circus, One Fell Swoop Circus, and ARC Circus.

In 2019, Sarah was named Grand Champion Dancer of the World at the World Championships of Performing Arts in Long Beach, California. Most recently, in 2024, she brought her talents to the screen, performing in a lead character role on ABC Kids, showcasing her unique blend of athleticism, character work, and stage presence.

At PEAK Gymnastics, Sarah is our Choreography and Handstand Specialist, and the curator of our Flexibility and Mobility Program. Combining her elite performance background with a sharp eye for detail and movement quality, she helps athletes of all levels build strong technical foundations, improve strength and mobility, and express themselves through movement.

While still actively performing, she is deeply committed to coaching and mentoring the next generation of performers and athletes. Sarah’s passion, creativity, and ability to bring out the best in each athlete make her an invaluable part of the PEAK team.
